The client of this Award Winning terrace wanted something modern, but to complement their 'Arts and Crafts' style home. The terrace was constructed using textured sandstone paving and rendered walls. The bespoke curved steps were cut by hand. As all the paving was butt jointed, we had to consider the levels perfectly, to avoid any trip hazards, which would typically be overcome using pointing joints.

This garden in Hedge End was built over two levels, which had to had to be child friendly, though suitable for entertaining. The rendered walls were painted cream to contrast with the polished black sandstone paving.
